Now before diving deep, let me clarify the importance of “quality” audience for your marketing funnels.

FACT – Irrespective of how many leads you generate for the top of your funnel OR the tripwire offer, if those leads are not “quality” audience for your business, you won’t be able to take them ahead in your funnel and sales process.

Why?

Because such leads will not consume your content OR even if they consume, they won’t take action and will never get any results.

Based on this, 2 things will happen:

  1. They will stop trusting you and might say bad about you, negatively affecting your brand image.
  2. They will take your mid/high-ticket offer and rely completely on you to get results while implementing nothing. This way you’ll burn out soon.

And in both cases, you won’t generate results and legit case studies for your coaching business…soon end up becoming a failed coach!

If you don’t wanna fall for that, then first focus on getting “quality” audience to your funnel and later on other ads related metrics.

So now that we’re clear with the importance of “quality” audience, I’ll stop emphasizing quality again and again, and directly jump on the case study.

My coaching client was an amazing coach in the make money online niche.

She was in a very narrow niche.

She had no email list, following on social media, PRs, audience, nothing.

She was much active on Social Media and posting a lot of content was trying various funnels to gro her coaching business.

She reached out to my team asking if we can help her to scale her coaching business and after understanding her campaign…we collaborated! 🎉

Later we planned to launch a chat closing funnel for her to kickstart her coaching business in the shortest possible time.

So here’s what I did, step-by-step, to help her generate the best quality audience for her coaching program worth $3,300.

Stage 1: The Strategy

The #1 thing that I started with after the client and I got together was “Business Strategy.”

Not just marketing strategy or branding strategy or lead gen strategy, but “Business Strategy.”

We had a good long call where the priority was to understand her business in great depth and together make the strategy to maximize the ROI + get at least 30 people to her program within 30 days.

As it was her first time, she set the goal to break-even or make decent profits.

But I assured her not to worry, and just follow the strategy we’ve made as mechanically as possible – no creativity at least for the launch!

Stage 1: The Strategy

This is one of the very important steps that most of marketing freelancers and agencies miss out on thinking – “We’re creative professionals and putting deadlines will hinder our creativity.”

The point is, that you can be creative if you want to test out things. But if your plan is to launch or scale your coaching business ASAP, you need a proven action plan with set deadlines.

Stage 2: The Action Plan

With strategy in place, I made the action plan with all the tasks that need to be done at the client’s end and my end with deadlines so we can track everything.

This is one of the very important steps that most of marketing freelancers and agencies miss out on thinking – “We’re creative professionals and putting deadlines will hinder our creativity.”

The point is, that you can be creative if you want to test out things. But if your plan is to launch or scale your coaching business ASAP, you need a proven action plan with set deadlines.

The client’s tasks was to setup funnel and other backend automations while mine was to focus on bringing in the quality audience and close sales on chat itself.

And the best way to do that (apart from targeting) is – nailing the ads and get quality audience so my chat closers deal maximum with quality leads.


Ads set a ton of perceived thoughts almost about anything and everything, hence, I shared the ad ideas with the client that will suit her personality and audience requirements.

Not just attracting the right set of audiences, but also repelling the wrong set.

Stage 3: The Ad Ideation

She got the editings done and we finalized the ads.

I got the offer & scripts confirmed with the client.

Finally, I wore my chat closer hat and brought together all the things I need to setup the ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.

Did the entire setup and launched the ads!

Once I started getting leads on chat, me and my team of closers started talking tothese leads and nurtured them through our secret nurturing system.

We got 5 sales in the first 4 days.

This was the testing phase and we knew now what is working and what is not!

Stage 7: The Launch

Finally, I wore my chat closer hat and brought together all the things I need to setup the ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.

Did the entire setup and launched the ads!

Once I started getting leads on chat, me and my team of closers started talking tothese leads and nurtured them through our secret nurturing system.
